The foundational principle of the US Women’s Caucus is that NGOs and individuals are more effective when they join together to advocate for the human rights of women and girls. The Caucus invites those NGOs and individuals that support the principles of CEDAW and the Beijing Platform for Action to join us, as Friends or as Members, to share information, learn from one another, and engage in joint advocacy.
Individual Memberships
We welcome all US citizens and as well as US residents that support the principles of CEDAW and the Beijing Platform for Action and are willing to help join in our advocacy work towards those goals.
Individual Members
- Will receive regular updates on key women’s issues
- Are eligible to serve in USWC working groups on key issues
- May work on developing policy and governmental recommendations
- Are eligible to apply to be considered for the Board of Directors
- Have a vote at the Annual Meeting
Organizational Memberships
We welcome other NGO’s and civil society organizations that are US based or have significant activities in the US that support the principles of CEDAW and the Beijing Platform for Action and are willing to help join in our advocacy work towards those goals.
Member Organizations
- Will receive regular updates on vital women’s issues
- Can appoint 2 representatives to the Caucus
- Representatives are eligible to serve on USWC working groups on key
issues and can work on policy and governmental recommendations. - Representatives are eligible to apply to be considered for the Board of Directors.
- Representatives have a vote at the Annual Meeting.
Membership Dues
Regular individual memberships are $35 per year, $25 for young professionals and $20 for students. Organizational memberships are $75 for smaller organizations (annual budget under $100,000) ad $125 for larger ones.
Friends
Individuals may sign up for our distribution list to receive e-mail messages on Caucus advocacy and events and to share views with other Caucus participants.
Donations
The Caucus is grateful for donations that support the work and advocacy of the organization as we strive together to advance the human rights of women and girls.
